Mechanical Engineer

(2-6 Years Experience)

About the Job

Kluber is seeking a full-time mechanical engineer with 2-6 years experience to work in the Batavia/Chicago office location. The position will report to the Project Manager, but will be responsible for oversight of lesser-experienced team members. Project tasks include work through all project phases, team coordination and active participation with clients.

Kluber offers a full benefits package including vacation, sick time, 401K and insurance.

Compensation is based on experience level.

This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.

Requirements for Applicants:

Successful candidate should be a self-starter, self-manage project deadlines, work well in team settings and possess strong communication skills. The applicant should be licensed or actively pursuing licensure. This position requires experience with AutoCAD, Revit and the full Microsoft Office suite. Additional 3D experience is a plus.

Intern Architect I

(1-3 Years Experience)

About the Job

Kluber is seeking a Full-Time Intern Architect I with 1-3 years of experience working in an architectural office.  The position will report to the Manager of Architecture. Project Tasks will include work throughout all phases of a project with an emphasis on individual development through the Intern Development Program (IDP), including IDP Sponsorship.

Kluber offers a full benefits package including vacation, sick time, 401K and insurance.

Compensation is based on experience level.

Requirements for Applicants:

Successful candidate should be a self-starter, self-manage project deadlines, work well in team settings, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare design or technical solutions under the direct supervision of the Senior Architect assigned to each project.
  • Prepare Contract Documents utilizing Revit/AutoCAD; develop designers’ schemes into construction plans, sections, elevations and details utilizing office resources, standards and prior projects for reference.
  • Create three-dimensional building information modeling and renderings and two-dimensional construction documentation using corporate software solutions.
  • Research and document products and systems and review findings with Senior Architect.
  • Attend project meetings with a Senior Architect at appropriate intervals as requested and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Construction Administration activities as assigned including construction observation, logging, processing and providing initial reviews for shop drawings for final approval by Project Manager.
  • Maintain architectural product and sample library.
  • Other tasks as assigned or determined by Senior Architect and Manager of Architecture.

The applicant should have an active Intern Development Program (IDP) account with NCARB established prior to hire.

The position requires experience with the following:

  • Revit
  • AutoCAD
  • Microsoft 365 Office suite
  • Sketch-up

Project Services Administrator

About the Job

Kluber is seeking a full-time Project Services Administrator to work in the Batavia office location. The position primarily supports  the needs of our project teams. This person will be a integral part of projects from award through construction, while reporting to the Support Services Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and assembly of construction specifications
  • Review pay applications and waivers
  • Prepare change orders
  • Maintain project files
  • Attend project meetings, take, type and distribute meeting minutes
  • Type punch lists
  • Maintain submittal logs
  • Coordinate tasks and efforts directly by project teams
  • Assist Support Services manager with other administrative duties

Requirements for Applicants:

Successful candidate should have the ability to manage priorities within established deadlines. This position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of this job and works under immediate supervision. This position requires effective communication and organizational skills.

A High School Diploma is required but an advanced degree is preferred. Background in architecture, engineering or construction is desired with 2-5 years experience, but not necessary. Skills should include proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Adobe. Knowledge of industry tools such as Teamwork Projects, Speclink and AIA Contract Documents is desirable.
