In 2019, Kluber Architects + Engineers was hired by the Village of Homewood to complete a study and design lighting upgrades for the Homewood Science Center. The building, which previously operated as a funeral home, required updated lighting to better support its new role and adequately serve the community.

Renovated spaces included:

• Theater/ Multi-Purpose Room
• Back Hall
• Back Vestibule
• Robotics Lab
• Garage
• Field Trip Room
• Basement
• Stairs to Second Floor
• Second Floor
• Copy room
• An office
• exterior native gardens.

Most improvements included brighter or new lighting, relocation or added outlets, dimmer capabilities, and better access to switches.
