Facilities Operations and Maintenance Plan

Kluber Architects + Engineers was contracted to perform current and measured-state assessments of 13 facilities owned by the Lake County Health Department. The goal was to assist the health department with long range capital building improvement planning and budgeting.

Kluber utilized our facility operations and maintenance plan to augment the health department’s capital improvement plan. Our unique process focuses on achieving a higher level of building performance through strategic planning for future building improvements.

Working with the health department, Kluber determined realistic building performance goals within funding limits to achieve the highest performance state possible for each under-performing facility. These goals then became the initial basis for the development of a capital improvement plan. Strategies and procedures were also developed for monitoring and implementing the plan.
