In September 2021, Kluber Architects + Engineers was hired by Garbe Iron Works, Inc. to undertake a project that consisted of reconstructing the east front façade of the existing building at their location in Aurora, IL. After examining the wall and surrounding area, it was determined that this project would also have mechanical components. The reconstruction consisted of metal wall panels over steel fit framing with a lower 3’ CMU wall to match the existing facility. The existing gas service needed to be relocated to the new wall, as well as the existing water service. The Kluber team provided Construction Documents, as well as permit assistance to the owner.
