Hengli America, a manufacturing facility in Bolingbrook, selected our firm to design interior modifications to a portion of its existing facility. The renovations involve the creation of a “clean” space that is approximately 3,600 square feet on the first floor, in addition to a second-floor bathroom group on the second floor.

Other aspects of the interior renovation include:

• Demolition of office space on the first floor to create large open space and second smaller area for
• Inspection.
• Two “open-air” spaces in the warehouse area for Inventory and Prep.
• Create breakroom with sink & re-use of existing cabinetry from the copy/fax room
• Noise control required (both inside the room and outside the room)
• Epoxy floor
• New suspended ceiling
• New and separate HVAC system for the new space as required
• Reinforce existing roof framing (if required) for new HVAC units
• Lighting needs to be bright (ceiling only)
• Air drops required for equipment
• Power required for assembly line benches and associated tools and equipment, overhead cord reels
• No bathroom group modifications are planned for Phase 1
• Provide 2 high speed doors into the new spaces through existing interior masonry wall
• Create second floor bathroom group on second floor located above the first-floor bathrooms
