The City of Aurora asked the Kluber team to complete a renovation project of the existing space on the first floor of City Hall being utilized by the HR Department. The existing space served approximately 6 staff members and needed to accommodate not only those 6 individuals but any potential growth in the future. The main portion of this renovation was designing an open office concept with 6 cubicles, 8 private offices, a shared conference room, a new work/copier area, a new reception area, new breakroom, and relocation of restrooms.

Specific scope details for this renovation included:

• Demolition of flooring, ceiling, lighting, interior walls, mechanical and electrical equipment
• New acoustical ceiling system and LED lighting
• New flooring and wall base, painting of walls
• New HVAC System
• Separate electrical circuits
• Relocation of existing high density file system
