In 2019, Joliet Junior College hired Kluber Architects + Engineers to complete an Arc Flash Study on their main campus located in Joliet, Illinois. The campus is 1,000,000 sq ft. and includes 15 different buildings. The project consisted of performing calculations to determine the incident energy exposure, flash protection boundary and minimum personnel protection class requirements more commonly referred to as an arc flash study. Kluber conformed with IEEE Standard 1584 (Guide for Performing Arc-Flash Calculations) detailed requirements in the performance of these calculations.
