Oakton College and Kluber Architects + Engineers have had a successful relationship for many years now and in 2022 the College asked the Kluber team to provide mechanical engineering services at their Skokie Campus.

The first part of the project was to review the hot water heating system and then replace the two boilers with high efficiency condensing boilers which needed to be interfaced into the campus building automation system. After the first part of the project was completed our mechanical engineers also replaced the building hot water pumps with new pumps that have variable frequency drives. They also replaced the heat exchangers in the boiler room.
