Aaron Reinhart
Aaron is a Senior Electrical Designer at Kluber. He is working toward becoming a licensed Electrical Engineer in the State of Illinois. Aaron has experience working on all phases of the design process with a variety of different project types. He is focused on using his innovation and intuition to develop a quality and efficient product for the client. Aaron’s tasks include electrical power distribution, electrical code compliance, interior and exterior lighting, emergency backup, and structured cabling systems. When Aaron isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Alex Engelken
Alex is an Architectural Designer at Kluber and a highly valued member of our team. He approaches every project with enthusiasm and is always ready to support those around him. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and baby, often taking walks with a coffee in hand, and keeping busy with his love of sports.
Brian Grey
Brian is the Director of Mechanical Engineering at Kluber. As a key contributor and a strong team player to the team, Brian’s tasks include building system design, code analysis, HVAC system design, and plumbing system design. Brian is also part of our BIM leadership team, where he spearheads Kluber’s use of the Revit design-tool, develops Kluber standards within that program, and teaches peers.
Charli Johnsos
Charli is a valued Senior Architect and Project Manager at Kluber Architects + Engineers. As a leader in her field, Charli continues to educate herself and others on the role of architecture and project management. She is an active member of many professional organizations, and truly enjoys collaborating with our clients to understand their needs. When she isn’t working, Charli enjoys golfing, spending time with her family, and eating sushi.
Clayton Haldeman
Clayton’s years of experience is evident with his aptitude for solving complex building detail solutions. He leads the firm’s efforts in building life safety concerns, building codes and accessibility compliance. A strong communicator and extraordinary team player, Clayton builds personal and lasting relationships with every project.
Debra Agro
Debra is the Office Manager for Kluber Architects + Engineers. She is known for her willingness to help on any and every project, her positive attitude, and endlessly creative skillsets. When Debra isn’t at the office, she enjoys working on art projects with her kids and spending time with her family.
Erik Witt
Erik is a Senior Architect and Project Manager at Kluber. He is a creative and forward-thinking designer with extensive experience across a variety of spaces. With years of expertise in project management, Erik excels at overseeing complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring efficiency and excellence at every stage. His dedication, and problem-solving skills make him an invaluable asset to the Kluber team.
Gary Lentz
Gary is a Senior Architect with several decades of experience in architectural design. His experience in many different project types showcases his creativity and precision. Gary’s innovative design approaches and commitment to the built environment sets him apart in the industry. When Gary isn’t working on our latest designs, you can find him spending time outdoors or playing his guitar.
Heidi Cervantes-Garcia
Heidi is a Project Architectural Designer at Kluber, and she is currently working on becoming a licensed Architect in the State of Illinois. She is passionate about Sustainability, as her certifications include both Fitwel Ambassador and WELL AP, which she integrates into every project to improve wellness in buildings for our clients. She enjoys collaborating with our clients. When she is not working on our latest designs, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors, and enjoys contact MMA/Boxing sports.
Jacquelyn Butler
Jake Kluber
Jake is the Director of Technology at Kluber. He keeps our team running smoothly by managing the technology that supports our work every day. From troubleshooting software to maintaining systems and tools, he makes sure our team can focus on serving our clients efficiently and without disruption.
Jeffrey Bruns
Jeff is our Senior Structural Engineer and Senior Project Manager at Kluber. He has a distinct understanding of built structures that enables him to develop and incorporate his designs with the architects and engineers at Kluber. He has worked with multiple municipalities on a wide range of project types from structural design to failure analysis of the building. In his spare time, Jeff loves to travel and spend time with his family.
Joel Murphy
Joel is our Safety and Technology Designer here at Kluber, and he has many roles and responsibilities. Joel consults on many of our interior renovation projects that involve technology upgrades or overall safety needs. When Joel isn’t at the office, you can catch him working on his pickleball skills or enjoying a good old fashioned Chicago hot dog.
Josh Kuchel
Josh is an Electrical Designer at Kluber Architects + Engineers who is working toward becoming a licensed Electrical Engineer in the State of Illinois. Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in electrical systems design, having worked on a variety of different project types. His expertise in creating efficient and safe electrical systems make him a valuable addition to our team. In his spare time, you can find Josh playing board games or grabbing a slice of sausage and pepperoni pizza.
Josh Peskuski
Josh is an Architectural Designer at Kluber. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University, and joined our team shortly thereafter. He is an extremely valued member of the Kluber team, where he collaboratively develops design solutions that meets our clients long-term goals. When he’s not at work, you can find him golfing, riding his bike, or eating sushi.
Kelsey Skager
Kelsey is Kluber’s Director of Business Development and Marketing. Her background in both marketing and communication allows her to play a pivotal role in Kluber’s marketing and business development strategies. When she isn’t meeting with clients and working on marketing initiatives, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, and eating her favorite food (cheese fries)!
Kyle Dick
Kyle is a Mechanical Designer at Kluber working toward becoming a licensed Mechanical Engineer in the State of Illinois. Kyle’s passion for designing comfortable and enjoyable spaces for our clients drives each project he works on. A strong team player, Kyle brings a fresh and positive attitude to each project. When he’s not designing mechanical systems, you can catch Kyle playing board games, video games, or enjoying a nice burger.
Kyle Gensler
Kyle is a Senior Structural Designer at Kluber. His diverse background in built structures of many forms allows him to provide top-notch design services to each of our clients. Kyle’s unique perspective and collaborative mindset make him a valuable asset to our team. When he’s not working on our latest structural design, you can catch him skateboarding, cooking, or serenading his dachshund with his ukulele.
Lauren Ruhl
Lauren is the Senior Project Coordinator at Kluber. Without her organizational and communication skills, our projects wouldn’t run nearly as smooth or efficient. Lauren is known for being a team player who works closely with our clients to deliver a successful project. In Lauren’s spare time, she enjoys photography, reading, and collecting Trader Joes greeting cards.
Lejia Risch
Lejia is a Project Coordinator at Kluber, where she supports our project teams and keeps our projects moving forward. She works closely with each of our team members, and helps contribute to the success of each of our projects. When she’s not working, you might just catch her on a skiing trip!
Maggie Geraghty
Maggie is a Project Coordinator who keeps projects organized and moving forward. She supports our entire team by ensuring each project successfully moves through each of the phases of design. Her attention to detail, communication skills, and proactive approach help ensure that our deadlines are met.
Michael Kluber
Michael has been providing Electrical Engineering services to municipalities since founding Kluber in 1988. His deep understanding of the complexities of design through working in the field provides a blend of the technical with the practical. His certifications include LEED AP and Certified Energy Manager, which enables him to leverage sustainability on each project. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and always learning more about the people around him.
Nathan Oh
Nathan is an Architectural Designer at Kluber and is currently working toward becoming a licensed Architect in the State of Illinois. Nathan has a very driven and creative mind, allowing him to visualize our clients’ needs and understand how to make them come to life. When Nathan isn’t working on design projects for our clients, you can find him enjoying his favorite food, Bulgogi, or taking architectural photos.
Parnell Tesoro
Parnell is a Project Architectural Designer at Kluber. He is currently working on becoming a licensed Architect in the State of Illinois. His responsibilities include preparing design specifications, preparing contract documents using AutoCAD, creating 3D BIM and 2D construction documents, assisting in Construction Administration, and more. In his spare time, Parnell enjoys rock climbing and going to the gym.
Rachel Whelan
Rachel is the Treasurer at Kluber Architects + Engineers. Also a member of our Business Development team, she enjoys communicating with our clients to understand their long-term goals. Rachel’s positive attitude and unique background makes her a tremendously valuable asset to our team. When she isn’t working, Rachel enjoys hiking, traveling, and enjoying her favorite food (sushi)!
Rebecca Garcia
Rebecca is the Marketing Coordinator at Kluber. Whether it’s designing advertisements or putting together sales brochures, Rebecca has a keen eye for what makes our brand stand out from the crowd. Her drive, creativity, and background all make her a valuable member of our team. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and enjoying her favorite meal, chicken bulgogi.
Richard Hennessey
Richard is a valued Mechanical Engineer on the Kluber team who contributes to the design and coordination of building systems. He works closely with each of our disciplines to enhance building performance on our projects. When he isn’t at work, he enjoys watching movies, eating pizza, and spending time with his family.
Samantha Frantik
Samantha is a Project Architect at Kluber, and has obtained her licensure in the State of Illinois. Her responsibilities include preparing design packages, construction documents, and coordinating with her project managers and our engineers. Samantha loves to work directly with our clients to find creative solutions to their building concerns in a way that is both functional and beautiful.
